Foil, common, and the extra tick that lies

A common edition and a foil treatment can share an issue number while being different objects. If your Marvel NFT comics collector checklist offers one tick for both, the page will congratulate you too early.

Write the common row first. Add the foil on the next line with the treatment spelled out. If an artist cover exists, give it a third line even when the story inside is identical. The checklist is counting visual editions, not plot.

Collectors who store print comics in long boxes already know this rule: a variant cover gets its own bag. NFT comics deserve the same courtesy on paper. Panel Craft Line ledgers follow that split so a finished-looking page cannot hide an empty foil cell.
